What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud computing means providing faster innovation, flexible resources and economical scaling by providing computing services (including server, storage, database, network, software, analysis and machine intelligence) over the Internet (“cloud”).

In other words, cloud computing is the provision of IT resources over the internet, on demand and with pay-as-you-go pricing. Instead of purchasing, owning and maintaining physical data centres and servers, technology services such as processing power, storage and databases provided by a cloud provider can be accessed when needed.
